3. What type of insurances do you accept?
Sinnai Behavioral Health Care accepts Medicaid, Medicare for its Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Only Maryland Medicaid and Medical Assistance is accepted for the PRP program.
Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

Insurance can vary depending on the Service or Location you are interested in. Please contact one of our Outpatient Mental Health Clinics for more’ detailed information.

Our hours of operations are 9am – 6pm, Mondays to Fridays.

Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinics are open Monday through Friday year-round, except for the following holidays: New Year Day, Martin Luther King Holiday, Memorial Day, Presidents’ Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program – Adult
1. What insurance do you accept?
In most cases, you are required to have Medical Assistance in order to enroll in our program. If you do not have medical assistance, please call the location closest to you to discuss your insurance further..
2. How do I enroll in the PRP?
You must be referred to the PRP by a licensed professional. If you are currently receiving mental health services by a licensed professional, please have them complete the referral form. If you are not currently in services, consider contacting us to begin enrollment.
3. What activities do you provide?

4. Do you help with benefits?
Yes, a case manager to assist with benefits and entitlements.
5. Do you help with job placement in the community?
While PRP staff can assist with job readiness skills and coordination with employment resources, job placement is not the main focus of the psychiatric rehab program.

7. How often do I have to attend?
Minimum requirements for attendance at each site is two days a week and a maximum of five days a week. Typically, the more frequently a person attends, the more progress they make!

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program – Child & Adolescent
1. What insurance do you accept?
Medical Assistance (Medicaid) is the only insurance that covers the cost of psychiatric rehabilitation services for minors. Sinnai Behavioral Health Care is an approved Medical Assistance (Medicaid) provider.
2. How can I get my child enrolled in PRP services?
State regulations require that a licensed mental health professional provide a referral for PRP services. Typically, a child’s therapist completes and sends the referral. Parents, teachers and others who are interested in referring a child for PRP services should contact the licensed mental health professional (therapist, psychiatrist) working with the child.

4. What kind of activities do you do?
All activities planned by the PRP staff are designed to be therapeutic in nature, allowing children to learn, develop and/or improve their skills while having fun. Activities often focus on facilitating the development of: anger management skills, age-appropriate semi-independent living skills, self-care skills, social skills, anger management skills, educational skills and symptom management skills. PRP staff often adapt games such as Bingo, Jeopardy, etc. to focus on the targeted skill being addressed. Activities may also include arts and crafts. Activities are planned around a theme each month.
